Print Production is complete for Ouva Hugs a Star
After a myriad of delays, the first edition printing of Ouva Hugs a Star, a STEM children’s book for girls and toddlers, is complete. Due to COVID-19 pandemic related challenges, Ouva Hugs a Star faced paper and production delays in September and early December of 2021. While printing began to slowly ramp back up late in December, a surge of COVID-19 cases reduced available staff needed for full scale print production of all books at the Minnesota print factory, causing delays in January and early February.
On February 14, 2022, Ouva Hugs a Star is officially published and books began shipping the week of February 20, 2022 for online orders. In addition, book review editions of Ouva Hugs a Star are being sent out to book reviewers. For the 79 backers on kickstarter, orders are being compiled and fulfilled over the coming weeks.
To celebrate the launch of Ouva Hugs a Star, book fans can save 15% on their purchase of the signed hardcover first-edition book. With each purchase, book buyers will also receive stickers that celebrate Ouva’s journey. Lastly, book signing and events are being scheduled as part of the book launch.
