IAMBOOKS Boston adds Ouva Hugs a Star to children’s book catalog
This September, Ouva Hugs a Star joins the children’s book catalog of IAMBOOKS, located in the historic Northend Italian district of Boston. Since launching of the book in March of 2022, Ouva Hugs a Star can now be found in five bookstores across Boston and the Massachusetts’ Northshore area. As an Italian-American, Mike Puglielli has close roots to the Northend of Boston. With family who currently reside in the Northend, or migrated to the US from Italy and grew up in the Northend, the famous Italian district always feels like home when Mike and his family stops by. In so, IAMBOOKS was always a favorite home-to-be of Mike Puglielli for Ouva Hugs a Star.
“The Northend always reminds me of the old Italian ways (with the occasional modern adjustment). From when I ate in my Nonnina’s kitchen, or visit my wife’s Zia, to my Mother’s own adapted Italian recipes, so much about the Northend smells, tastes, feels, and sounds like Italy and the family culture I grew up with.
